Guest mode: try the calendar before you create an account
Try the calendar on this device. A server account is created only when you sign in — and your local snapshot is claimed, not discarded.
You can open Personal Secretary and keep a calendar without creating a server account. Guest mode writes events, tasks, reminders, habits, and preferences on this device only. Nothing is uploaded for an anonymous session, and the app never invents a hidden user on the server.
Local writes count toward the public guest action and day limits. When you hit a limit, the app asks you to sign in rather than silently dropping the change. Assistant, recordings, calendar sync, plan day, projects, and profile edits are signed-in tools — guest mode does not pretend they work offline.
When you are ready to keep the same calendar, create an account or sign in. The app copies your local snapshot and sends only an allowlisted payload: events, tasks, reminders, habits, and optional preferences. Local data stays on the device until that request succeeds. An empty snapshot skips the request and simply leaves guest mode.
That order matters. A failed claim does not wipe what you already planned. You can retry, and the on-device copy remains the source until the server accepts it.
